Newt Gingrich, the man who believes in family falues…but divorced twice, the man who flip-flopped on the issue in Libya (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RiXPLmbrefI) said this recently:
“I have two grandchildren — Maggie is 11, Robert is 9,” Gingrich said at Cornerstone Church here. “I am convinced that if we do not decisively win the struggle over the nature of America, by the time they’re my age they will be in a secular atheist country, potentially one dominated by radical Islamists and with no understanding of what it once meant to be an American.”
That’s right. The man who was once third in line for president and who is now a hopeful presidental canidate is worried that we might become an ATHEIST country ruled by MUSLIMS. Essentially, ATHEIST AND MUSLIM.
Am I understanding you right, Newt? Becuase, if I do, then you are either a complete moron or, worse yet, a liar, trying to say outrageous things to fearmonger. How are the Muslims going to control the Athiests, Newt? I’m honestly curious. Do you think “secular” means “Chistians lose their rights, but Muslims get a freebee”?
Nothing else needs to be said on the matter: it speaks for itself. I do not think I need to eloborate.
Also…lets here a tale about soliders killing innocent brown people!
Just spreading the hatred…

I listened the Top 10 music tracks, according to billboard.com
Just for fun, lets compare each entry with another song. Just compare them in the emotional response and quality. I also try to attach songs that are as similar to the billboard title as possiable.
This one I can actually tolerate. Its strange…but at least it has a good beat. Its like and oldies song.
Vs…fuck it. Anything is better than this garbage:
Can you hate other people simply because of their choice of music? Almost. Seriously, this garbage is what people want to be the most succesful? Do any of these choices give ANY emotion when you listen to them? Hell, the last entry is just a song about getting laid.
How did music begin to fail after just 10 years? Or am I just crazy?

Its been a year since the passing of the health care bill. Yet absolutely none of the “death panels” or “upcoming communism” have appeared. That’s fear mongering at its finest.
I was looking at the list of movies coming out. Its sad how Hollywood has run out of ideas. Seriously:
Atlas Shrugged (in two parts), Scream 4, Hoodwinked Too!, Thor, PotC 4, The Hangover Part 2, Kung Fu Panda 2, X-Men: First Class, Judy Moody and the NOT Bummer Summer, Green Lantern, Mr. Popper’s Penguins, Cars 2, Transformers 3, HP 7: Part 2, Winnie the Pooh, Sinbad The Fifth Voyage, Captain America, The Sleeping Beauty, The Smurfs (seriously), Rise of the Apes, Conan the Barbarian, Spy Kids 4, Final Destination 5, Piranha 3DD, The Ideas of March, The Thing, The Three Musketeers, Paranormal Activity 3, A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas, Puss in Boots, Immortals (based on Greek mythology), Happy Feet 2, Breaking Dawn (in two parts), The Muppets, Alvin and the Chipmonks: Chipwrecked, Mission Impossiable: Ghost Protocol, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, Underworld 4, Star Wars: Episode I (in 3D), Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, The Lorax, The Hunger Games, Clash of the Titans 2, The Avengers, Men in Black III, Battleship, The Dictator (based of a novel by Saddam Hussein), Madagascar III, planned Star Trek sequeal, planned Snow White film, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, The Amazing Spider-Man, Ice Age: Continental Drift, The Dark Knight Rises, The Bourne Legacy, Total Recall, G.I. Joe 2, Resident Evil 5, Frankenweenie, Monsters Inc. 2, 23rd Bond film, Life of Pi, Snow White and the Huntsman, The Hobbit (in two parts), King of the Elves, Man of Steel, Iron Man 3, The Dark Tower, and Avatar 2 and 3.
The rest of the films? Primarily boring or crude comedy films of stock action or family movies.
Of course, the majority of these movies are going to make money and America’s culture will still fail to actually create new material. We will keep on eating shit, so Hollywood keeps making shit. Sure, we might buy into something original, like Inception, but, in the end, we would rather watch something that had been re-digested than something brand new.
Call me crazy for wanting new plots and ideas to be displayed on the big screen. Its just that I am an old man and back in my day, we had something called “creativity”.

I did some searching on the internet and saw two odd polarities in internet dating…
On one end, we have BeautifulPeople.com, which, obviously, is a dating site for beautiful people. It has several million members (I believe) and is in many languages. Not just a sex service, mind you, but a dating service. In this service, both parties are vain morons.
On another end, we have GameCrush.com, where you can pay a girl to play a video game with you (even tic-tac-toe!). At one point, it broke due to over 10,000 queries in 5 minutes. In this case, the women are playing with men’s heart strings, while the men are just plain pathetic.
Yes, these sites are a minority, but still…

There were two events in 2010 that lead me to lose all of my hope in humanity.
I always disliked people, as I said. But before 2010, I still had a hope for the little pieces of humanity that I could relate too. I still thought I could fit into two last niches: either through a card game or through an online chat. I like games, especially ones geared towards nerds, and the facelessness on online chat, I thought, would make things easier.
Neither of them worked out. Partly do to my actions…but I can’t help but blaiming them for being so unsympahetic.
The first fallout happened after a Friday Night Magic group. We were playing Rise of the Eldrazi draft. I was playing with a WB deck and my opponent was playing with a RG deck. Previously, he appeared to me like the ultimate uber-geek. He looked like the Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons.
I had won the first round, but the second round was closer. I can’t remember the exact setup, but I had an Ulamog’s Crusher. Then I somehow got two Eldrazi Spawn tokens onto the battlefield…but I accedently put them their tapped. During his turn, he used Traitourous Instinct on my Crusher. I think he would have won, but I blocked with my Eldrazi tokens…even though they appeared to be tapped.
He noted this problem. I did not know what to do. But then, without even trying to negotiate,he quit. He then said that he could disqualify me if he wanted to and that I should learn to play the game before I entered tournaments. I said I was sorry, it was an honest mistake, and I could concede, but he said it was fine…even though he preceded to tell all his friends that he lost the match do to a newb move.
I was entirely at vault, do not get me wrong. I should have either lost that round or that match. But he just lost all sympathy with me over a card game. I was not banned from the place and he probably got over it the next day, but the lack of sympathy…stunned me. I just could not go there anymore.
The other time was after a while of hanging out at this chatroom. I thought I was getting along with everybody pretty well. They seemed to share my ideas. But then I had one of my “break downs”.
Maybe I was an asshole before than. Maybe people did not want t o deal with an emtionally unstable teenager. Maybe they wanted to help, but they did not know how. Regardless, I basically went crazy while everybody watched.
I was not banned after that, but I might as well have been. I just had so much shell-shock from nobody giving a shit about me in my time of need that I no longer used it to form social bonds, but as a time waster. I am now banned from it, but I don’t realy care anymore, although I do talk to one user once in a while. They just did not actually care about me. Maybe they tolerated, but care? Ha!
My overall point? If either of these two mediums sympathized with my accidents or feelings, I might have left a connection to humanty that could make me forgive it. But without their sympathy, I can’t help thinking that nearly everyone on this planet is an asshole.

Teodoro Nguema Obiang, son of the dictator of Equitorial Guinea, is trying to build a yacht worth 380 million dollars, almost three times of what they spend on health and education.
I do not need to say more. Or do I?
Recently, John Audubon’s “Birds of America” was sold for over 10 million. Pablo Piccaso’s “Nude, Green Leaves and Bust” sold for 106.5 million. Amadeo Modigliani’s “Nude Sitting on a Divian” sold for 69 million. Andy Warhol’s “Men in Her Life” sold for 63.4 million. Less recently, “No. 5, 1948” by Jackson Pollock, a very abstract work, was sold for 140 million in 2006, the most expensive piece of art of all time.
Gail Posner and Leona Heimsly has each given millions to their dogs. Multiple virtual spaces on Entropia Universe have sold for over 300, 000. And who could forget AIG spenind 400,000 at a hotel after they were bailed out?
I’m just saying that this is why Communism souns so nice at times…

Bradley Manning has gotten back into the news. Apparently, he is now being forced to sleep naked. The reasons are unspecified.
So, first you arrest the guy. Then you send him to solitary confinement for months on end, with only a single hour per day outside of his cell. Now you are requiring him to sleep naked, to deal with. And he does not get a trial. He MIGHT get a trial in May or afterwards, but that is a big MIGHT. All of this, because he sent classified information.
Now, I am not sure if it right to leak private information from the government. However, I can see how one can easily leek information with a good intention in his heart. I doubt Manning was intending to harm people by revealing these documents.
But, first of all, solitary confinement is ALWAYS harsh punishment. I don’t care how much of a risk you are. Being alone for that long of period, with nothing else to do, is DANGEROUS for your mental health. Especially if it lasts for several months. I am not a social person, but I myself would go insane if I had to deal with 15 hours of zero outside contact or things to do. It doesn’t help when you strip the victim of their clothes. I don’t care if there is a suicide or another risk. If that is the case, then watch over him 24-7. Just don’t strip him. It is completely humiliating. This entire confinement system will only make things worse.
Not only that, but think about it: there have been thousands of cold-blooded murderers who kill people to see them suffer, rapists, and men who have swindled millions of dollars from unsuspecting buyers. Each of those men have gotten a trial and usually have access to other people. These people intentionally wanted to harm others. Yet, when a man releases documents on the semi-logical thought that the American people should know what their government is doing, then you LOSE the right to a fair trial. And if you are deemed “mentally unstable”, then you will be “helped out” by being locked away from the rest of the world. Because that is the best thing for mental health. Just ask your therapist: “I am suicidal, what should I do?” “Why, Billy, you should lock yourself in a room, only coming out for an hour each day!”
And of course, SOME reactions have been utterly ridiculous. Just look at these comments from AOL News:
“Poor thing, the Traitor who put Americans at risk in war a little cold? Is him not doing well? Is him thinking him is sooooo cool now?? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahah, smoke em.” (+2)
“As a Veteran with 27 years in the US Army, and having seen combat several times over, in which many of my friends died, some in my arms, I believe the traitor should be put to death forthwith. With regards to him having been stripped of his cloth while on suicide watch, I can commend on this with authority, having worked as a Correctional officer for 17 years, after retirement from the Army. It is standard procedure to strip an inmate of all his clothing, and belongings, so that he may not harm himself. He is then given a Suicide Smock, which is basically a heavy mated skirt held together over the shoulders, and covers his whole body, and keeps him warm. This fact was conveniently omitted by his lawyers. Under no circumstanced will the inmate be left naked or in any other degrating condition in his cell. The liberal lawyers from the ACLU, would like nothing better than PFC Manning to be either mistreated, or to kill himself, so that they can point the finger at the US.” (+7) (Mixed messages there!)
“He should be chained up and left naked in the cold. What a disgrace he is to America and our military!” (+3)
“The lawyer is right! He should not be on suicide watch, he should be waterboarded every day of his miserable life for being the traitor he is,. And when he is found guilty, he should be executed by a firing squad with exceptionally poor aim!” (+8)
“He’s a traitor to our country-he’s not much of a MAN gay or straight-he should have been put to death already for being a traitor, so whats to cry about now, we don’t care about him- put him in the chair already! “(+7)
“We are at war….He is a traitor….Kill him….Immediately….Firing squad……Lets not waste any time…Make him a lesson to anyone else who may think of back stabbing America…..The fag bastard should be castrated first then his balls shoved down his throat and then shot…..”(+8)
“That Piece of CRAP is a DISGRACE to that UNIFORM.Hope he rots in hell” (+10)
Keep in mind that some of the information allegedly leaked by him were on civilian deaths (such as the Granai and Baghdad airstrikes). Also consider that he could have sold the information to other countries, but decided not to.
But what happens when the same crowd looks at civilian abuses in Iraq and Afghanistan? I mean, betraying America is bad, but the deaths of innocent men are worse, right?
“war is hell. thats why its called war. grow up.” (+12)
“We need to do these rag heads the same thing we did to the crouts and the japs. Kill them until they surrender unconditionaly. Bomb their towns, citys, caves, anywhere they are until they get the message (+2) (This was a response to a claim that NATO killed 64 civilians)
“And how was American Prisoners of War treated, thats right they didn’t have any. The other prisoners they took they CUT OFF THERE HEAD. So i could care less HOW THE UNITED SATES MILITARY AND NATO FORCES do their job, just do the job the safest way possible for troops on our side with the least amount of collateral damage. Yes I said least and not none because war is hell and the other side is not playing by rules of the Geneva Convention. If the US was responsible for the virus that got the computers at Iran’s nuclear site and throughout Iran this should be the next site hit and every company that had anything to do with leaking secret information and let the CIA go back to their old tricks and see who gets the editor. We don’t care how it gets done just DO IT.” (+31) (Two wrongs make a right?)
So, Leaking information = death penalty. Death of civilians = AWWWWW RIGHHHTTTTT!!!!
Maybe what Manning did was wrong. But considering his actions, it does not appear like he should experience so much hatred. He may deserve jail time, but he does not deserve a hell or the death penalty when other people do crimes with far less good in their mind.

Throughout the first world, we also here about how “nice” it is to help out those who are less fortunate than us. Most religions, the apparent “core” of our beliefs, teach us this. We are expected to feed the poor, lend a helping hand to the downtrodden, “do unto others and you would have them do unto you”, etc. We are constantly told to care about the poor and the helpless, so we end up thinking that we actually care about them. “We are not heartless!” we tell ourselves. “We help out the needy whenever we can!”
Folks, I live in a house that is worth tens of thousands of dollars. My family owns multiple television sets and video game systems, has satellite television, volumes of books and toys from my childhood, jewelry, a keyboard, two computers with internet connection, and tons of other shit we do not “need”, but “want”.
Now, think about what we could do if we “scaled down”. Imagine if we bought a cheap house and only bought what we needed. Imagine how much money could be saved to help other people. Now imagine that, multiplied by every single well-to-do person on the globe. All that money could be used to help a lot of people. We could feed more people, improve our schools, save people from debt that they could not avoid. Imagine!
Why don’t we? We care about other people, right? These are other humans we are talking about! We should be willing to give up a few material needs to help out others, right?
We do not care about these people. We think we care, because we refuse to believe that we would let other people suffer. Yet, when it comes to excess versus aid, we usually choose the latter. It is an obvious truth, yet I have nearly been yelled at for merely noting this truth. But just look at how much we own compared to the lower class. We could make a sacrifice, but we do not. The best we can do is occasionally donate a little bit of money to some cause. But this gesture is just made to sustain our own ego. Less than 1% of our income is spent on such purposes.
And that is just the middle classes actions! Look at what happens when you reach the upper class! At that point, unless you are a philanthropist, like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet, you pretend that economic hardship does not exsist! Once the threshold is reached, we buy stuff that NOBODY needs, especially at the extravagant costs they sell for. We buy private jets, yachts, hoards of jewelry, closets of cloths that are only expensive because they are labeled “designer”, and mansions that are less for living and more for showing off.
Of course, some people claim that the people deserve their excess wealth because they earned it. That could be a valid statement if we all had equal opportunities. William had nothing in his life to stop him from becoming a millionaire. But John got into a nasty car crash that made him stop working, with a heavy medical bill to boot. Abel made a bad deal on her mortgage and is about to lose her house. David lost his job due to a bad economy. So, while William lives like a king, other people live in squalor, without William even considering throwing a bone to them. There is a difference between being poor due to being lazy and being poor because you got caught in the gears of the system.
But I am not blaming the rich. I am blaming all of us. We would just mimic the rich if we had the money, focusing on the material while others struggle to survive. Most of us just do not give a damn. We do not care who falls into poverty. As long as we, our friends, and family are fine, we could not care less. We say we care because we do not want to look bad. But you cannot care for something simply because you say you do. If you have the opportunity to help others, but ignore it, then you do not care about others. So when we say we care about the poor, but live in utter extravagance whenever we have the chance, we are not being virtuous. We are being hypocrites.

On Norbit – Don’t Adjust My Seat – “rapustia is my idol” (+7)
This is why our culture is still in a rut.

What a promising virtue.
If any feeling is overhyped in our culture, its love. It is seen everywhere. In our folklore. In our literature. In our cinema. In our conversation. It is one of our ultimate goals in all our lives: find someone to love get married, die together, and do everything in between. And it sounds good. We all want someone to love us. To sympathize with us. To enjoy us. To desire us. To do anything for us.
Doesn’t that sound nice?
Of course, there is a little “dark side” to love that we do not like to talk about. A factor that is not based on intellect or values, but on something as shallow as beauty.
See, there is this little, tiny thing called sex.
We are supposed to think of sex as the “cherry on top”. We are not dating a woman because she’s hot! We are dating her because she is smart! We are not marrying a woman because of her abilities in bed! We are marrying her because she is our “best friend”! We could NEVER be that shallow, right?
Tell me then, why aren’t we all bisexual? If we chose our love based on intellect and values, then why do we not fall in love with both sexes?
It is painfully obvious. Sex A is sexy. Sex B isn’t. We fall in love with Sex A. We do not fall in love with Sex B.
Let’s just say it is. Look at any given couple. Do they look like two random people were grouped together, or are the two people in each other’s “league” (ugly people with ugly people, beautiful people with beautiful people, etc)?
Ironically, this revelation took the quickest to realize, once I started thinking about it. Sexual appeal can exist without love, but love rarely exists without sexual appeal. It is just how things are. We are hardwired by our biology to value sexual appeal over other, more important virtues. We fall in love with a beautiful person of low intelligence and conflicting ideas much easier than a hideous person with higher intelligence and equal ideas. Ugly people might get into the “friend zone” at best.
And we cannot get around this. We cannot suddenly declare “I will only judge people based on ideas and compatibility, not physical features!” We can try our damned hardest. We can reject the sexiest possible partners because they are complete morons. But, no matter what we do, we always end up being with someone we consider “cute”.
That is a depressing fact that we cannot get around. Unless we all wear disguises (a ridiculous request, even for me), we cannot beat our instincts. But at least we can fight our instincts. We can at least attempt to choose our lover based on their thoughts and not their looks.
Sometime we do. But often we do not. I can never be certain about the exact numbers, but it is quite obvious how sexual attraction can overtake all other aspects of a relationship, if they were even there to begin with.
Just look how addicted many women have become to their looks. Not only do they focus on lavishing themselves with all sorts of cloths and perfumes, but more and more now want to physically alter their bodies. Why? Because they want the attention! They know that few things are stronger than the male’s urge to fuck. Just look at how many people cannot stop fucking other people despite their vow of devoutness to their partners. Just look how many more men will rally towards a woman who acts like a ditz, but has giant tits, while the thoughtful, intelligent girl is completely ignored.
I am currently enrolled in high school. I have not dated anyone. I am too frail for dating at this point. But I have seen many couples and their actions. Guess who gets the girl: the guy wears glasses, is articulate, listens to people, and cares about other people’s feelings, or the sports jock that is handsome, but is barely passing his classes, barely listens to you, and has his boxers hanging out for some reason that not even God knows? Who?
Of course the retard gets the girl. There is a reason why the jocks are so popular while barely anybody has ever even dated on the chess team. All other traits are secondary to some big tits or some great abs. Yeah, listening, intelligence, and similar ideas are good and all, but Tom is just so cute!
Even if you could somehow abandon the notion of sex and connect to someone completely, you still might not experience the mythic “everlasting love” that we always have been promised. Marriage is supposed to be ones eternal oath to your lover. Yet, in America, the divorce rate is at about 50%. That means that, for every four people who say they want to be with you forever, at least one of them is either caught in the moment, exaggerating, or outright lying. More sickeningly, over 75% of marriages end when a chronic disease is involved. If marriage is supposed to be sacred, then where the Hell did the additional 25% come from? I thought you are supposed to stick with your partner through the worst of times? Why would you want to abandon them in their hour of need?
Does that statistic absolutely horrify anybody else? Am I alone in thinking that there is, at BEST, a quarter of a chance them the person that I love will really love me back? And I mean love ME, not my body or my status, but ME, the one thing that only I can control. Even if we hit it off, there is only a 50% chance that they life me for my ideas and my feelings. It is not love if you leave someone because their body is collapsing. What you have been through was what you thought was love, but in reality it was just your urge to have fun, feel cared for, and have sex. You did not care about the person involved.
I am not sure if I will ever fall in love. It is so draining on your emotions. But if I do, I want them to love my feelings. If they want my body, then we can have a one night stand. If they want to have a fun time, then we can be friends. Only when they want to feel my feelings, to understand me, and to be with me through the absolute best and the absolute worst of times can they call it love.
But I doubt I will ever find her.
